Since 1984, there has been an ominous shadow hanging over an immense opera house, which was once the meeting place of a secret club known as Blood Polygons.  
Local folklore recounts several grim stories that took place behind closed doors after each performance.

The members of the brotherhood were engaging in experiments aimed at establishing contact with a parallel world.

They called this one...Planet Hell.
 The mirrors of the opera house served not only as the gate but also as protection against what was on the other side. Beyond these mirrors laid cold landscapes, devoid of any civilization. Only sprawling, metallic creatures were reflected there from time to time.

Eventually, the imposing building was abandoned and the Blood Polygons vanished without a trace.

Until today.

Dark Desires is Grimlin's second album. A Valentine's Day release, the album conjures the offbeat, like a desire to celebrate Halloween in the middle of Christmas.  
The main theme describes the close link between love and death against the backdrop of opera - its secrets and tragic stories of impossible love. 
On the other side of the mirror lies our unspoken and darkest desires.
We are afraid of what the mirror shows us, but breaking it would make us acknowledge the present, and make us aware of who we really are...

Simple mortals in search of life.
